Your information
Privacy Policy
Effective upon public publication
PUSH TO OPEN, Inc. provides accessibility consulting services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you contact us, engage our services, or make payments.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, organization, contact details, correspondence, and information relevant to your consulting project.
We also maintain invoices, payment confirmations, and other records needed to administer our services. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the consulting work and we have agreed on an appropriate way to provide it.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with clients.
- Plan and deliver accessibility consulting services.
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain business records.
- Resolve problems, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Payments and bank account information
We use Stripe to process payments. If you choose to connect a bank account through Stripe Financial Connections, the connection process requests your permission to access the information described at that time.
We use information made available through this process only as needed to support authorized payments, verify payment-related account information, and address payment issues. We do not request your online banking password by email or through consulting communications.
Our policy is to keep connected bank account data within Stripe rather than download it into our general business files or send it to other applications. We may retain invoices and payment confirmations separately for accounting and recordkeeping.
Stripe’s handling of personal information is described in its privacy policy.
Use of ChatGPT
We may use ChatGPT to help prepare general business materials and organize information. Before submitting client-related material, we remove names, contact details, bank information, and other details that could identify a client or individual.
We do not submit customers’ connected bank account data, banking credentials, or identifiable payment records to ChatGPT.
Information sharing
We share personal information with service providers only as needed to communicate with clients, deliver services, process payments, and maintain business records.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, address fraud, or respond to security incidents.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Storage and security
We limit access to personal information to people who need it for their work. Our security practices include access controls, strong passwords, and multifactor authentication where available. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
We keep connected bank account data in Stripe. Any future decision to store that data separately will require a review of storage location, security, and applicable Stripe requirements before implementation.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver services, maintain required business and financial records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it securely or remove identifying details.
Your privacy choices
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about its use. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
Certain records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We will revise this policy when our information practices change and identify the effective date of future revisions on the published page.
